THE AIMS OF THE ORGANISATION ARE:

• To demonstrate the commitment of the organization through Te Tiriti o Waitangi; - the principles of partnership, proactive protection and participation.

• To ensure the provision of services is culturally appropriate and safe.

• To acknowledge that client participation and consent is essential in the planning of services; that being part of the community is as important as having tasks done.

To provide quality support services for clients who wish to remain in their own homes for as long as is possible. Client confidentiality is assured and satisfaction is measured. The services will complement and support, the whanau, husband/wife or family member who has a dependent of the family living at home. Complaints procedures are established, and monitored including the client’s being made aware of the services offered by Health Consumer Trust.
